2020 F/W Capsule Collection

The name was brought on by the holiday representing the death of a well-known jester Archy Armstrong in 1664.

 

Concept : Jesters have been used as a form of entertainment for those in higher power, with that in mind I wanted to use the dark themes surrounding the idea of humiliating ones self and dehumanising a person for the amusement of others. The concept is fitting in today’s society surrounding social media and reality shows that base themselves around degrading people to humour the viewer to obtain self-serving titles such as celebrity or influencer.
